Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the answers to some frequently asked questions about TfR that you may find useful. If you have any specific queries, or would like to find out more about how we may be able to support you and your organisation then please feel free to Contact Us (link to section 6a).

Q: Which communities do you work in?

A: At present the majority of our work is carried out in support of community partnerships working within Objective One Priority 4a areas. Historically these communities suffer from above average levels of social and economic exclusion, as characterised by high unemployment, low skill and qualification levels and high percentages of residents claiming benefits.

Q: Do you support communities/Community Partnerships located outside P4a areas?

A: Currently TfR’s Regeneration Advisers are primarily funded to support groups from within Priority 4a areas. However, we are able to offer the skills and abilities that we have developed supporting Priority 4a communities across the wider South Yorkshire area and beyond on a fee paying basis. If you’d like to talk to us about how we may be able to support your community organisation or project then please Contact Us.

Q: Do you work with communities/Community Partnerships outside South Yorkshire?

A: As mentioned above, the majority of our day-to-day in the past has been carried out in support of communities and Community Partnerships located within Priority 4a areas of South Yorkshire. However, we have had the opportunity to carry out pieces of work in other areas of the country on a consultancy basis, and able to offer this type of service more widely. So, if you’d be interested in finding out more about how TfR’s services may be of benefit to your organisation then please Contact Us.

Q: Who should I contact about how TfR can support my organisation?

A: As may be seen in the About Us section of this site, our team has a wide and varied range of skills and experience. So, if you’d like to Contact Us and provide some brief details about the type of support that you are seeking for your organisation then we’ll make sure that the appropriate team member contacts you to discuss your needs in more detail
