Doncaster Communities Live at Home Scheme Doncaster Communities Live at Home Scheme (DCLHS) is a voluntary organisation which offers support to people aged 60+ who, for a variety of reasons, are experiencing social isolation. The scheme was set up in 2000 within the constitution of Methodist Homes for the Aged. At present, DCLSH serves a large part of the Doncaster Metropolitan area, particularly central and northern regions. Read more |

Ellesmere Youth Project The Ellesmere Youth Project is a detached youth work project working in the Ellesmere and Carwood area. They work with young people aged between 10-18 in the Burngreave area, using detached youth work and centre-based sessions. They also offer one-to-one individual support for young people. Read more |

Avalunch Avalunch is part of the Mexborough Baptist Church, led by a group of volunteers who provide a service for isolated and socially immobile individuals and the elderly. They provide a healthy living service that caters for individuals’ emotional, social and nutritional needs. Read more |

St Alban's Family Development Project The Family Development Project (FDP) works primarily with parents, carers and children in a multi-cultural inner city area of disadvantage and deprivation. It aims: to encourage the development of parenting skills, greater confidence, involvement in community life and interest in their role in their children’s education; and to help people to believe and communicate to their children that it is possible to be real actors in life, rather than objects of attention or receivers of welfare support. Shrodoba Scrapstore Shrodoba Scrapstore is a South Yorkshire charity with national links. Scrapstore collects safe waste from business which can be re-used as a low cost creative resource by their member groups (groups that work with children and parents), sell new materials at reduced prices and offer workshops for adults and children. Rotherham Based Detached Voice and Influence Youth Project Through this project, young people are able to access the services of a team of detached youth (and sessional) workers that would work with those young people most at risk in an identified community partnership area. The prioritisation and identification of clients will be based on youth worker expertise and Community Partnership knowledge and experience. Read more |
