TfR’s aim is to help people help themselves. We support local people to take effective action to improve the quality of life in their communities. To add new content.
TfR was established in 1999 and operates as a ‘not for profit’ organisation. Since its creation TfR has helped voluntary, community and faith groups across South Yorkshire to develop exciting and innovative responses to community need in disadvantaged areas. To facilitate this process, we have supported groups to access over £17m of funding.
TfR is now able to share our expertise over a wider geographical area. We offer a demand–led service, working with partners to provide short, medium and long-term packages of customer-focused support, including consultancy services.
We provide support to groups and individuals through a range of services:
St George’s Minster, Doncaster
The project aims to open access to the building and surrounding site, increase the heritage access to the wider community and increase education and social events held at the Minster for the benefit of the wider community.
